- 2014-2015 ICC World Cup: On 18 July 2014, Afghanistan and Zimbabwe played their first One-Day International (ODI) match at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo. Zimbabwe won both of their home matches handily, taking six wickets in the first and eight in the second. However, the Afghan Atalans leveled the series 2-2 by winning the remaining two matches.
