Jitesh Sharma added a Quickfire 40* from 19 balls, causing RCB to be captured in the overs of death. Despite MI’s aggressive pursuit, Tilak Verma’s 29 out of 56 balls and Hardik Pandya’s Brisak at 42 runs, RCB bowlers limited their nerve to 209/9. This victory not only promoted an important morale for RCB, but also underlined his resurrection in the tournament.
